After an accident, Zhang Xiao, a woman from the 21st century, wakes up in the Qing Dynasty era. Here, Zhang is Ma'ertai Ruoxi, a noble young woman during the Kangxi Emperor's reign. She lives with her sister, Roulan, and her husband, Yinsi, the emperor's eighth prince. Ruoxi becomes friends with other princes - tenth, thirteenth, fourteenth, and the fourth.
