Modern Korea: The Art of Korea

A government-led documentary project of ore than 150 large-scale paintings depecting major scenes of rapid economic development followng Korean history from ancient to modern times. These paintings became widely used as public images, such as in textbooks, and were deeply imprinted into the visual memores of Korean at the time. However, it is not known much that these paintings are the result of a national project involving a large number of Korea's leading painters. Archive project broadcast produced by KBS.
