Synopsis

During the Japanese occupation, thousands of Koreans were working as slave laborers in the dangerous mine on the Battleship Island. Moo-young, an independence activist, sneaks into the island to rescue Korea’s spiritual leader. When Moo-young learns that Japan plans to blow up the mine, he decides to escape the island with all other Koreans.
