Synopsis
Jun-seok, Dong-soo, Sang-taek, and Jung-ho are childhood friends who enjoy each other's company despite the differences. One day in 1981, the boys attend a concert by an all-girl school band. Sang-taek and Jun-seok have a crush on Jin-suk, the vocalist, but Jun-seok encourages Sang-taek to go out with her. The four get into a fight with thugs from a neighboring school, and Jun-seok and Dong-soo get expelled. Three years later, Sang-taek and Jung-ho become college students; Dong-soo is in prison; Jun-seok addicted to drugs, and Jin-sook is his girlfriend. When Dong-soo gets an offer to join a criminal organization run by Mr. Cha, Jun-seok tries to discourage him. They cannot reach the agreement and get separate ways. A few years later, Jun-seok joins his father's criminal organization, and his and Dong-soo's become a rival that causes endless violence.
