Be Melodramatic

Be Melodramatic centers on three women in their 30s who still struggle in their lives. Jin-joo is a TV screenwriter who hasn't over the breakup with her long-time boyfriend. She just got a job as an assistant for a big-time TV writer, but both the work and people exhaust her. Han-joo is a single mom raising a young boy. As she keeps struggling both in her career and raising a child, she only gets saddened by her ex-husband's rise to fame after the divorce. Eun-jung is a documentary filmmaker who succeeded suddenly after her low-budget film hit big at the box office. But now, she seems to have lost any will or hope to live after her boyfriend passed away. Concerning the friend, Jin-joo and Han-joo moved into Eun-jung's big house, and the friends, plus Eun-jung's brother and Han-joo's son, have lived together for a while.
