Synopsis
Zen Chen, a Korean-Chinese college student in China, receive a photo of his mother. His dying father wishes to meet her one last time, and that's why he flies to Korea to find her, who abandoned the family a long time ago. Her life is not as flashy as imagined: she works at a bar and lives with a man. She doesn't ask her son how he has been, nor doesn't seem happy to meet her child. When Zhen Chen has to go back, she buys some stuff and gives some money. At the airport, waiting for his plane, Zhen Chen finds his mother's journal in a bag. It contains her painful past that she cannot dare to tell his son.
